The first month of the year has already passed, I think at about 90 miles an hour. I got a good bit done and if I can keep the momentum it will be a good year, what is it they say about best laid plans, we will have to just wait and see. On Jan.1st clue of Bonnie Hunter's Good Fortune mystery, she suggested making a list of your unfinished projects as something to work on for the year. I had already been thinking of doing this so this was just the push I needed. Three pages later and I have still not gone through all the drawers and project boxes(reality check), I took a break on the listing and started working. I am writing the finish date to the left of the list in red ink, definitely a red letter day. So for January I have 6 finishes. A few I have shown in earlier post.
This little blue and yellow Oklahoma Backroads had waited patiently for a couple of years but now it is done.
My twin size version of Good Fortune.
I know better to think that I would not start anything new but my plan is to finish anything I start quickly. So that means it needs to be something small like this little heart banner.
So January numbers are 6 finishes of old and one new. Wish I could say that was the only thing I started in January but no I can't. I also quilted and bound one little baby quilt for a friend and got started cutting up the t-shirt for another customer.
Happy Stitching,
Teresa
