DeAndra's Wedding Shower

Gina Decker gave DeAndra a wedding shower today at the Snack Shack in Florette, AL. DeAndra worked at the quilt shop and she was our little ray of sunshine. The attendees were those of us who worked there with her and family and close friends. The tables and decorations were beautiful and of course the food was wonderful.

 

 

In planning we decided on hand made items. I mean we did all work at the quilt shop.

 

 

 

First she opens some place mats made by Gina. That's Sarah trying to keep up with the who and what of it all.

 

 

An afghan from Donna, so sorry she couldn't be there today. Hope you get to feeling better soon.

Bonnie made her this apron.

Bonnie also made her this cake. She also made her something with their initials but no photo.

Linda made the big tote sitting in the floor. DeAndra can store lots in there, but today it was filled with all kinds of goodies. DeAndra was pulling everything out so fast I didn't get pictures of everything.

 

She got table runners for all seasons, dish cloths, place mats, pillows, towels and more.

She also got canned goods, casserole covers, cookbooks and more.

I pieced the quilt and Gina quilted it. The bright cheerful colors just fit DeAndra's personality.

Gina made a set of pillow cases. Cathy made the cutest fabric bowls plus some baked goods in a jar. No picture, just too much going on here today.

We divided into 3 teams and made veils. Bonnie is modeling team 3.

Team 1 model is Sarah. They had a little trouble.

This is the entire group. DeAndra with Mother and future Mother-n-law, Jared's sister and another friend plus the rest of the stitch group. Yes we count Bonnie and Sarah in the stitch group, they just don't get to attend as often. A wonderful time was had by all, thanks Gina for putting this together.
